I have been a subscriber to Dinner Made Easy for a while now.  I love it.  They have some great recipes…and they come to you on a regular basis sometimes with coupons.  For some reason (technical difficulties), I can’t seem to put the link directly into my post…so, the pic and link are at the top of my sidebar to the right.

Fry’s has Chef Michael’s dog food on sale for $3.99 per bag….well, thru Saturday 11/21 there is a catalina printing if you spend over $35, you will receive $5 (if you spend $30, you receive $4, and if you spend $25, you recieve $3).  So, here are my deal ideas:
Buy (9) Chef Michaels dog food bags $3.99 = $35.91
Less $6 off $30 purchase (Fresh and Easy Printable) = $29.91
Less (9) Coupons from SS10/11 for $3 each = $2.91
You will pay out of pocket $2.91 and receive a $5 catalina…making it a money maker!!

The coupon expires on Monday….and the catalina expires 11/21….so, you will need to get out and do this as soon as possible.  While you are there, pick up the Oscar Mayer Bacon for 77c after coupon (if you buy 3, you will get a $2 catalina) and pick up 4 of the Coke 12-packs for $1.88 and you will be really close to the $50 mark….then you can use your $10 off $50 purchase (Fresh and Easy) coupon.  That will make this an even better trip for you!

My second trip of the day…The first trip….I got $200+ worth of groceries and paid $48 and received $7 in catalina coupons to use on my next trip.  Well, then I remembered that we have picture day tomorrow…and my girls need clips for their hair.  So, I was headed back to Fry’s.  But, seriously, could I just purchase the clips and leave?  No!  Not when I have a $10 off $50 purchase coupon + a $2 off $10 meat purchase coupon + a $4 off Cleaners purchase coupon and bacon is only $1.77 a package and we have $75c off coupons that will ‘double’ to make them only 77c a package.  Oh it gets better, there is a catalina that spits out with ever 3 packages you purchase for $2 off your next order.  So buy 3, pay 31c after coupons and catalina.

Yes, I only paid $20.05 for all this and got back $4 in catalinas.  Not sure how I got 2 of the $2 catalinas…but it was a good surprise to have that second one.

As most of you know, I haven’t been much of a Wal-mart fan….but I think it is great that they are stepping up for those who don’t use coupons, to be able to make a very affordable Thanksgiving day feast.  This will be my first year attempting EVERYTHING on my own.  Because, my girls are 4yo and 3yo this year…..I want them to start experiencing Thanksgiving the way I did, lots of food and then lots of couch time.    Just kidding about the couch time.

So, reading around the blogosphere….Starting tomorrow 11/4 thru 11/8, Safeway will be running a promotion.  Spend $50 and get a $10 Kohls Gift Card.  Word is that it will be a catalina that will print out automatically for each $50 you spend for ‘Kohl’s Cash’.  The certificate will be good only until 11/21, so no saving it for “Black Friday”.  The fine print reads that the catalina will print AFTER manufacturer’s coupons and Safeway Club Card specials.  However, most of the time, these deals print after Safeway Club Card specials but BEFORE manufacturer’s coupons.    I am hoping to use some of those great Super Coupons from Sunday and hit the store tomorrow.  I will update you as I learn more.
