CVS Grand Plan 8/1 – 8/7

My Friends/Readers in the Phoenix area…we didn’t get some of the coupons listed.  :-(   So, I will redo a Grand Plan for our area.  I hope to have it posted later today.

**Revised this – Tracy (The Coupon Girl) caught my mistake…I put the Peanut Butter in the same deal as the Popcorn…and they aren’t part of the same deal!  :-(   So, I revised the deal…now the total is almost unacceptable!

At first, it looked like this week I would be staying home….but with 2 girls, the free barrettes would come in handy.  And we always need Peanut Butter and this is a decent price.  Also, I still have a ton of these SoBe lifewater coupons that I keep winning everyday…so I will want to get me some freebies there too.  :-)

My goal in creating these grand plans is to spend less than $5.  However, this week, I didn’t want to miss out on the Skippy just cuz of my silly $5 cap.  So, I will go over by 53c!  :-)   Besides, I have the EB’s I earned last week to get me thru it.

I was tempted by the spend $25 get the 8 pack of Bounty deal, but there just aren’t many coupons out there to bring down the OOP necessary. Then I looked at Rite Aid and you can get the 8 pack for $3.99 after coupons and all. Kind of funny that CVS states **7.99 value** on the 8 pack.

If anyone comes up with a scenario for this one I’d be interested but there just doesn’t seem to be a viable way even with the new P&G coupons out on Sunday.

  2. Michelle D says:

Do the ECB’s reset every month on the 1st? I think I’ve already done the gillette one (if i recall correctly) in July…..thanks in advance :)

  3. Lessie says:

    Michelle,
I am so sorry it has taken all day for me to get back to you. I have been so sick today with a 103+ fever…I am just now getting to log in. :-( The ECB’s don’t necessarily reset every month. They reset when the event code resets. So, this week will have a different event code than the last Gillette sale, so it is fine to do it again. :-)
    Hope that helps!
    Lessie

  4. Wan2save says:

Are any of these items ConAgra eligible for the $1.50/4 deal?

  5. TracyB says:

@ Wan2save: Yes, the popcorn and sunflower seeds are part of the ConAgra deal.
